Save on Wireless Headphones, Smartwatches, and More Running Tech at Walmart Now

Black Friday is still a week away, but the holiday deals are already starting.

Product, Small appliance, Technology, Gadget, Electronic device,

It feels like holiday deals start earlier and earlier every year. But that’s not a bad thing. Starting today, Walmart’s Early Holiday Sale (which launched in October!) has added even more discounts on a ton of tech that can enhance your runs or recovery—think things like wireless headphones, smartwatches, and small kitchen appliances. Whether you’re shopping for yourself or another runner in your life, you’ll be able to sleep easy after Thanksgiving dinner knowing that at least some of your holiday shopping is already done.

Wireless Headphones

Get Expert Advice wireless models, including the Powerbeats3 and Apple’s popular AirPods, are included in the sale. We especially love the Powerbeats because of their sport-specific fit with ear hooks, marathon-worthy battery life, and impressive sound quality. While AirPods aren’t a running-specific choice, they’re a popular pick for iPhone users and should still be able to handle sweat sessions. For truly wireless music, Samsung’s Galaxy Buds provide an even better custom fit.

The Apple Watch 5 may be out, but if you’ve never had an Apple Watch before, you won’t miss out on too much if you go for the Series 3 or 4. Both have cellular connectivity so you can leave your phone at home when you go for a run, but the Series 4’s biggest upgrade is its ECG (electrocardiograph) feature, which can alert you if you have an irregular heart beat as well as call for emergency services if you’ve fallen and are unresponsive. While Walmart’s selling the Series 4 for $100 off, the Series 3 is even less, plus it comes in a bundle with a free Motile power bank. So don’t think you need to jump right to the Series 4 just for the improved battery life.

Kitchen Appliances

Of course, the latest technology like wireless headphones and smartwatches can improve your runs, but never discount the importance of the right food for your training. Make your coffee with Ninja’s premium coffee bar, whip up some low-fat fries with Farberware’s air fryer, go out for a run while Ninja’s pressure cooker handles dinner, and treat yourself to some dessert afterwards with the help of a KitchenAid stand mixer.

Training Essentials

Last but not least, there are likely a few bigger ticket items you’ve been eyeing that you know will boost your running efforts—the price just needs to be right. If you’ve patiently waited all year to nab your first (or newest) treadmill or space-saving dumbbells that will actually motivate you to follow through on strength training, now is the time. And when you need an active rest day, ProForm’s 235 CSX Bike is on a deep discount to help you spin out any post-run soreness.
